Thrown Out

You threw off someone’s bell curve
because you were just too perfect.
And so they threw you out.
Out onto the internet.
And you who were the ninety-ninth percentile
got pinned there,
forever,
and everyone who saw you thought you were
someone’s normal.
They forgot that you were only there
because you threw off the bell curve.
